Hello, My name is Aedan Osika, and I am the owner of Osika Contracting. I began my journey in the home services industry while attending University, where I ran my Student Works Painting business in Guelph from 2020 to 2023. Those years gave me hands-on experience in painting, project management, customer service, and running a business built on trust, hard work, and attention to detail. After graduating from that chapter of my life, I set out to build something of my own by launching Osika Contracting. My goal was to create a company that delivers a higher standard of craftsmanship, professionalism, and care for every home we work on. Since then, I have continued investing in my education and training, including completing multiple carpentry courses to expand the services we offer and strengthen the quality of our work. My background has always been rooted in discipline and work ethic. I graduated high school from Athol Murray College of Notre Dame in 2019, where I dedicated myself as a student-athlete, competing in hockey, rugby, and football. Those experiences taught me accountability, resilience, and the value of doing things the right way. I also took pride in community involvement through volunteering with charitable and local service initiatives, which helped shape the values I bring into business today. From a young age, I have been motivated by entrepreneurship and service. One of my first ventures was a small business called “The Recycle King,” where I collected refundable bottles and cans and raised $1,500 toward the purchase of a CT scanner for our local hospital in Nelson, BC. That early experience showed me how meaningful hard work can be when it is tied to a greater purpose. Today, I bring that same mindset into every project through Osika Contracting. Whether we are painting, completing detailed finish work, or providing expanded carpentry services, my commitment is to deliver quality workmanship, honest communication, and a professional experience from start to finish. I believe that proper preparation, skilled execution, and genuine care for the client’s home are what set great contractors apart.
